This is an account for clips from Real-Time Fandub, SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub, and BTDubs — posted context-free. Fandub quotes are absolutely wild, therefore they make for great one-liners. You can share them to friends, use them as reaction clips, or do whatever you feel so moved to do. submission rules

Wanna see a particular quote or moment clipped? Read these terms before sending a request!1. Only clips from SnapCube dubs and Charley the Pirate Theydy dubs. Don’t submit series derived from Real-Time Fandub; there’s too many of them. Make your own account if you wanna do that.
1.1. Clips from dubs of the Legend of Zelda (practice for Well Abridge Me, Princess) are fair game too; so are trailers for the dubs.
2. Your request must adequately lack context. An out-of-context clip has to confuse you and catch you off-guard. Would the joke make more sense with context? Would it feel more wild without it? I don't just post the hits for the sake of it.
3. Send your requests through Tumblr as an ask, through Bluesky or Twitter as a direct message. I probably won't take a public request unless I feel like it.
4. For your request to be valid, you must send me the quote itself, send me a timestamp with the episode name, a description of the moment or a timestamped link. (?) Do not trim the video yourself, I am not able to download your video and will have to subtitle it anyway.
5. Clips featuring deadnames are off-limits. If you cannot respect this basic measure, get the hell off this account.
6. Trigger warnings may be applied. You may request a trigger warning to be placed on the video.
7. The maximum limit is 40 seconds. Songs are the only exception, but they will be sped up on Bluesky and Twitter if they exceed their video length limits.
8. You may choose to be credited or anonymous. By sending a message, you will be asked if you want to be credited and I will honor your request. If you send in a Tumblr ask, you can choose to be credited by pressing a single checkbox.
9. I retain the right to remove any clip for any reason. This right extends to the rest of the Real-Time Fandub casts, who may reach out personally to request the removal of a clip at their discretion.
10. Please don’t be an asshole. Use your best judgement and remember that there’s a person on the other side of the screen. I will not hesitate with the block button if you cross a line.This version of the rules is in effect as of October 18, 2024.

"Why the trigger warning? This is Real-Time Fandub!"TL;DR: My target audience is the people who HAVEN'T watched the show, and most videos won't come with trigger warnings.Long answer: The shows can get kinda raunchy and NSFW with its topics, but most people who find the videos on Twitter DON'T know that and thus may be exposed to discussions of triggering topics like rape, trauma, gaslighting, etc. If I were a movie person and rated the shows, most RTF media would be rated PG-13 at least, and R at the most (there's literally a scene in the show where Biff Tannen and Lorraine Baines from Back to the Future make babies on the spot, moaning like they were in a porno - SOMEHOW STILL ON YOUTUBE). The trigger warnings are my common courtesy for the average Twitter user, basically.I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
